Love their sandwiches! Good price for what you get. Lines are always out the door but definitely worth the wait

If you haven't had a Little Lucca sandwich then you haven't lived yet. Huge portions, really good garlic and pepper sauce, and fresh ingredients. My go-to sandwich is a 2 meat with roast beef and pastrami, on dutch crunch, provolone cheese, everything on it. Parking lot is small and has a huge pothole so watch out for that. There is almost ALWAYS a line there so be prepared to wait. $10 minimum purchase with card and they have an ATM inside.

Was in the area and found this place on yelp. Honestly it was pretty good, sandwiches are freaking huge! I got the buffalo chicken strip sandwich and it was good. Very big definitely one sandwich could feed more than one person. Only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is the guys making our sandwich was a little confused and since we hadn't been there before we too were confused. The food though was good and for the price you get what you pay for. If I go back up north probably would try this place again.

I go here strictly for the hot pastrami on Dutch crunch. Hella good and the only sandwich that is my entire days meal. Half for lunch and the remaining half for dinner. Call 2 hrs ahead of time so you can avoid the line. If you order after 10 your order won't be completed until 1pm at the earliest.

I have had a lot of deli sandwiches but Little Lucca's is hands down the absolute best there is. They don't skimp you on the meat and that garlic spread is to die for! I have never been there when there wasn't a line, but well worth the 30 minute wait. Always must stop here when I'm in town!!

I like Lucca's but I wanted to like it more. My likes: their original and very pungent garlic sauce. Holy moly that's strong but YUM...their dutch crunch bread and their very authentic Italian style deli meat menu...this reminds me of my childhood in NYC and all the deli lunches we'd have. The things I don't like: the three times we've gone in, we've had average to very slow customer service :( They also frequently run out of their dutch crunch and their veggie sandwiches (only two on the menu) are average at best and not heated. They could be a lot tastier. Therefore, Lucca gets a four stars whereas Ike's gets a five!

Little monsters. The sandwiches are the length of your forearm. For reals. Italian salami on Dutch crunch. Amazing sandwich. A normal human can devour 1/2 a sandwich in one meal. If you can devour the entire thing, you are my idol.

This place is just ridiculous The sandwiches are ridiculously huge, ridiculously delicious, and ridiculously inexpensive. Unless you are on the competitive eating circuit, bring a friend when you come. After half a sandwich, you'll likely be stuffed, unable to move, and be a good way toward a food coma. Don't come if you're in a rush. They really take their time making the sandwiches so the line moves rather slowly. You'll usually see a line out the door even though they manage to squeeze a good size crowd on the inside. That said, it's definitely worth the wait.

Just went there, have been going over 26 years! Lady asks what I want I tell her shrimp hold the hot pepper sauce but want pesto sauce, I then proceeded to tell her next sandwich and she said: wait 1 at a time, I said everything but the pesto and hot pepper sauce she put it on I said no so she wiped it off, which then someone else took over after asks what I'm getting. I get home take a bite and she put hot pepper sauce on my shrimp sandwich! Too hot for me now I'm bummed, never had a problem there but now there is a huge language barrier! I gave it 5 stars as I've never had a problem!

Unassuming place that you could drive right past, but don't be fooled. Sandwiches aren't just a great value, but taste fantastic. I had the fresh roasted turkey with cranberry with the shop's homemade garlic sauce (looks like a garlic pesto) and a little jalapeño spread. Will definitely be back when I'm in South San Fran.

Seriously. If you live in the bay area and have not had a Little Lucca sandwich, you are sheltered and missing out. Id say maybe once a month we sent someone here to pick up a whole stack of sandwiches. Keep in mind, i work in Oakland! Yes, it's that good. I've tried about a dozen different sandwiches on the menu, and i have not be disappointed yet. I haven't heard any complaints from my coworkers yet, so i know they're happy too. We will absolutely continue to come here. Be sure you order early! This place is swamped, all day, every day. So plan ahead! And enjoy!

This place makes lunch time feel like Christmas. I've never been sooo excited to unwrap my prosciutto sandwich with errrrything on it. Doesn't hurt that this sandwich is also a monstrosity in size meaning "two" meals for the bangin' price of one. Call in your order and save yourself the wait in line!

Been going to little Lucca's for about a year. Portions are good. Only down side is waiting in line. Haven't tried anything on the menu I didn't like. Would recommend Jamaican jerk turkey and your choice 2-3 meats. Also hot pepper spread good.
